Custom Beaded Graduation Cap

2024 MAY/JUNE GRADUATION DATES ARE CLOSED – ORDERS PLACED FOR THESE DATES WILL BE CANCELLED.

Graduation caps are provided (unless you want to send your own that is completely fine – keep in mind the time constraints); one-size-fits-all standard caps are available in all colors. (Please type the specific color needed in the text area provided – preferably email me past grad photos)

It is recommended that commissioned caps be ordered at least 2 months before your graduation date OR photoshoots. IF YOU WANT YOUR CAP FOR PHOTOS YOU NEED TO ORDER 2 MONTHS BEFORE PHOTOS OR IT WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED TO BE DELIVERED ON TIME.

I have received a lot of questions about my quilt pattern cap and who can wear this pattern. Personally, I will not bead this specific pattern for Non-Northern Plains peoples as this is a special Lakota pattern for ceremonial purposes. Unless you are part of the northern plains tribes I don’t appreciate anyone using this design for their cap. Not because I’m trying to block out anyone, but because we’re not a monolith and therefore I believe for ceremonial pieces like graduation caps, you should use symbols and patterns historically used by your tribe/region to represent yourself accurately. Please be respectful when inquiring about beaded graduation caps as not all patterns are available to non-indigenous peoples, pilamaya, thank you!
