Welcome to OyáblečA (Lakota for “spill the beans”) Weekly!
I would like to share an important note about the perspective from which this newsletter is written. As a proud member of the Standing Rock Tribe, I draw heavily on my cultural heritage, traditions, and experiences, therefore the content you’ll find here will predominantly reflect my Lakota viewpoint.
My goal is to offer insights, stories, and information that are deeply rooted in my culture and/or affect my people. I hope to provide a space where our traditions and perspectives are highlighted and respected. While the focus will be primarily Lakota, everyone is welcome to read, learn, and engage with the content!
